International Fibromyalgia Symposium, August 20-22, 2004

The Fibromyalgia Recovery Group is the proud host of the "International Fibromyalgia Symposium" which will be held Friday thru Sunday, August 20-22, at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.     For this educational conference, we have gathered some of the world's leading experts on fibromyalgia treatment and coping skills.  This will be the largest event ever dedicated to the discussion of fibromyalgia, and more importantly to recovery from FMS.   This Symposium is a one-of-a-kind experience designed to bring together physicians, nurses, patients, therapists, trainers, caregivers and companies who are involved with the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of patients suffering from this debilitating disease.

Please join us for three days of lectures, panel discussions, workshops, clinics, and media presentations.  Bring your doctors and your care givers, OR your patients and professional associates, to three days of sessions with the brightest minds in FMS treatment and support. Network with other doctors and patients from treatment centers and support groups around the world.  More than 30 FMS support group leaders and their doctors representing over 4,000 patients will be attending the event, promising some great networking and lively discussions.  Learn how YOU can get your life back!  Join us for this three-day Symposium of enlightening, practical solutions to living with fibromyalgia syndrome.  Bring your entire family or come alone and enjoy the friendship of others like yourself.

All of this against the backdrop of the fabulous Phoenician Resort, rated the #1 hotel in Phoenix/Scottsdale by "Travel & Leisure Magazine".   And don't forget the food!  The chefs at The Phoenician are world famous for their cuisine!  Symposium lunch and dinner menus will be designed to accommodate those who are on restricted carbohydrate diets, with flexibility built in for those who are not.   Hotel details .
